Going to the doctor about growth HELP!?

Hi, im 15 and i know that many of people say your height depends on you gens and i know that's not true because i can have a hormone or vitamin deficiency or something like that . so i was wondering if that doctor could check to see if i have one and would they be able to help and what kind of doctor do i go to about that. . . i live in Las Vegas
