Taser Age Restrictions?

I am 15. My dad bought a Taser C2 for me for self defense after a home invasion that occurred recently. My question is can I carry it via the holster at home? What about public places (Concealed). What,If any charges would be filed if I got caught? By the way, I live in Texas.
